This notice covers the CORFIX corporate website. Purchases in the separate e-shop are covered by the information provided in that shop.

Contact and retailer enquiries
We process your name, email, message and any company, address and telephone details you provide to respond or prepare a business relationship. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, or our legitimate interest in answering other enquiries. Required fields are marked with an asterisk. You may contact us by email or phone instead. Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
Message retention
New form submissions are sent through the CORFIX mail gateway to obchod@corfix.cz. Their content is not stored in an administrative website inbox; the website retains a technical handoff record without the message text. Older inbox records remain protected under the original retention period of up to 180 days and are removed on the next form use after expiry. If an enquiry becomes a business relationship, necessary details may be retained in the relevant business records for their purpose and legal obligations. Email correspondence is kept as needed to handle the matter and protect related rights.
AI assistant
The assistant offers automated help with our range and contact details. Your message and a limited conversation history are processed on the server and, depending on the enquiry, sent to the AI provider configured by the administrator (Odysseus or the OpenAI API). Product facts come from the public e-shop. Do not enter passwords, payment details or sensitive personal information. Contact us directly about personal or order-related matters. The chat does not decide your rights or place orders.
Chat and operational data
This website application keeps conversation history in the memory of the open page, not in a permanent conversation database. Selected history is transmitted when processing a question. This does not guarantee that the AI provider does not log conversations; contact obchod@corfix.cz for the current provider’s precise logging and retention arrangements. Time-limited request counters tied to an identifier derived from the IP address help prevent abuse.
Recipients and transfers
We use OpenAI Sites hosting and Cloudflare infrastructure. Authorised staff and suppliers providing hosting, security, email and AI may process relevant data. Some services may process data outside the EEA. Contact us for details of current providers, contracts and safeguards applicable to a transfer. The OpenStreetMap map loads automatically and sends connection information, including your IP address, to its provider.
Cookies and your rights
Optional theme storage is used only with consent. The Cookie policy explains storage and withdrawal. Subject to GDPR conditions, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability, object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. You may complain to the Czech data protection authority at uoou.gov.cz or your competent supervisory authority. We normally respond to rights requests within one month and notify you of any justified extension. We do not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
